Variable rates are held constant for illustration, not guaranteed for a year. Rates shown apply from 1 October 2026. Averages, regional ranges and offers are labelled separately. Not a personalised or whole-market comparison.

ScottishPower confirms its Standard Variable prices changed on 1 October. Your exact price depends on your tariff, payment method and location.
Pricing assumptions & source
The October price-cap update does not give a universally applicable supplier unit rate. Fixed-tariff prices and availability need a personalised quote. Check both unit rates, standing charges and any exit fees on the supplier’s website before choosing a plan.

A little help with the details.
The small print, made simple
Know what you’re
looking at.
These are published snapshots, not live quotes. Always confirm the latest price with the supplier.
Why isn’t there one price for every home?
Your postcode, meter and payment method affect the rates available. Your usage affects the bill. A national average, a regional range and an advertised discount are different measures, so we don’t rank them as cheapest to most expensive.
What do unit rates and standing charges mean?
A unit rate is the price for each kilowatt hour (kWh) you use. A standing charge is paid each day, even when you use no energy. For each fuel, multiply annual kWh by the unit rate, add 365 daily standing charges, then divide by 100 to convert pence into pounds. Use rates from the same region and tariff.
Does this include every tariff?
No. This directory covers selected publicly published information from six suppliers, checked on 2 November 2026. It is not a whole-market comparison. Fixed, smart, EV, Economy 7, prepayment and business tariffs may have different prices and eligibility. Northern Ireland has a separate market.
Are these Wiso partners or affiliate links?
Listings do not imply a commercial partnership or endorsement. The supplier links on this page are direct, without Wiso referral codes. You arrange any quote or contract with the supplier. Wiso does not switch your energy here.
